Family papers, 1890-1988.

Diaries and papers of Willard E. Harold, and papers of his wife, Alma, and his parents, Mae Rutledge Harold and Dr. Henry E. Harold. His parents' papers consist of correspondence, medical school records, and physician patient accounts. Willard Harold's papers include his correspondence and diaries from his youth in Indiana and Canada, his early working life, his military service, and his own advertising business and retirement. Also records from correspondence classes, papers from his career in advertising, and military papers. Seventy-four diaries (1915-1988) record Harold's life in great detail. Subjects include current events, advertising, military life, home and leisure activities.
